First EVER Commish

Yay, finished my first ever commission! It was incredibly fun to collaborate with someone else on the idea for this picture. This was done for MedeaSmyke. She was really great and helpful, sending me all kinds of references and ideas. This is a scene from her Hunger Games fan fiction, 'Love Was a Fire Escape'. In her story, Madge has begun to work as a nurse at an infirmary and she's patching up Gale and ... romantic tension ensues!

Anyway, I tried some new things with this. Sorry for the crap background. Gale is supposed to be sitting on an examination table with stirrups which would have been way funnier but it seemed sort of distracting and I can't draw back grounds worth a damn so... there ya go. Also, I literally redrew Gales hair about a fifty different ways. I wasn't one hundred percent thrilled with how it came out, but thiiis isn't terrible. Madge, on the other hand, was super fun to draw and color and I'm pretty stoked with how she turned out. She's so fluffy and blond and adorable.
